WELCOME

hi, I’m Jodi!

Hi, I’m Jodi — the voice behind Accidental Country Folk. I’m a homeschool mom who has already graduated two kids, with two more still in high school. My degree is in secondary education, but honestly? I’ve had to unlearn a lot of what I thought teaching should look like. We stumbled into Classical Conversations because, even though I don’t love being boxed in, we all needed some structure — and it’s been a gift.

Life around here is fueled by homemade chai and lattes, spontaneous fun, and the smell of books (preferably read in a cozy coffee shop). I love watching miracles happen in my garden, scribbling words onto a page, dreaming about mountains, and bingeing Suits or White Collar on VidAngel.

Health-wise, I’ve walked the crunchy road for years — overcoming PCOS and Hashimoto’s, and most recently navigating celiac. Those challenges have only deepened my passion for natural living and helping others find hope.

I once lived as a missionary in India, and maybe that’s why I can’t stop collecting stories, glitter, stickers, and new hobbies (like learning to sew). Around here, you’ll find a mix of faith, farm, oils, homeschool musings, and whatever else I’m learning, laughing at, or leaning into. Welcome to the adventure!
