A Pinterest Contest For Children
If it wouldn’t annoy the Engineer, I would probably have a bulletin board in every room of our house. While bulletin boards have the potential to look classic or purposeful, I lack the ability make such a thing occur on that inviting cork board.
But that doesn’t stop me from enjoying all of the funky pins in the stationery isle at Target.
I would boldly tack every picture the boys made me, Bible verses I wanted to memorize, lists, crafts torn out of magazines, blog recipes I want to replicate, and photographs. It would be completely unorganized. Deliciously and chaotically full. An OCD’s worst nightmare.
There is a place that I can “pin”till my heart is content. Though I don’t utilize this free resource nearly enough.
Pinterest.
Did you know that God is on Pinterest?
I wanted to snag your attention.
There are ways to use the internet for good. And this week, Compassion International is running a Pinterest contest, complete with prizes, all for the purpose of blessing over 3,000 children with sponsors.
How to enter the Compassion Pinterest Contest
- Start by reading the contest rules
- Pin this image — shucks, I would give it to you, but I am typing this from my iPad while listening to a graduate level enginering course about some equation relating too kinetic energy . . . and it is keeping me from being able to figure out how to save and upload the image Compassion wants you to use . . . so, simply read the rules.
I will let you know that you receive more points by just sponsoring a Compassion Child.
Just sayin’.
