My sister and I come from a long line of sewers. However, sewer really isn’t a word. (Seamstress would imply that we sew clothing–and we don’t.)

Perhaps I should say that we come from a long line of crafty women. Guttermann thread is the vehicle through which blood flows in our body. Birthdays always meant a new sewing machine, bobbins, and pin cushions. In our infancy, my mom found us playing with needles, scissors, and fabric. By age 2, we were quilting and creating Waldorf dolls.

Just kidding. Or am I?

However, it does seem fitting that as we have matured into adults our craft has become specialized as we create the items that excite us and and that we have found useful in our mothering.

Without further ado, let me introduce my 3rd giveaway as we continue to celebrate my 1 year of blogging, sponsored by Hi Mamma (AKA my sister).

. . . and a squirmy poopy baby is not a fun baby at all . . . .

I pull out a washed changing pad cover that is waiting in the drawer.
