After All is the first book I have read by Deborah Raney.  It won’t be the last. 

A terrible fire takes the lives of several heroic firefighters, including Susan Marlowe’s husband.  Through a series of events, Susan discovers that her marriage wasn’t as good as she thought. 

As Susan learns more, she has the support of her son who has recently moved home, and fire chief, Peter Brennan.  However, a certain Andrea Morley once again moves in on Susan’s territory.  Yes, you read me right.
