Wordless Wednesday: A Cowboy Vacation

I know of two boys who were allowed to ride across the country on horses sans parents.

You read me right.  True story.

No parents.

The Abernathy boys were (approximately) my son’s ages.

6 and 8.

Would you allow your 8 year old to lead the way across the state of Ohio and up into New York?

Perhaps I am too protective.  Heck, it scared me (just a little) to have Gabe stroll around astride a pony.

He’s only 4, though.
