Vacation Reading: Seal of God
While I would not deem, Seal of God, by Chad Williams, true vacation reading – I did happen to read it while on vacation.
The Engineer and I can’t seem to get enough excitement in our lives, so we often read about adventures of Navy SEALS.
I’m kind of kidding. Kind of.
We do enjoy hearing about feats of bravery, tales of miraculous survival, and faith tested under fire.
I just can’t get the idea out of my mind of how God created men.
They were created to protect. Defend. Be active.
And these stories stir ups SUCH great conversation between the Engineer and me.
With that, I do recommend Seal of God, to you IF you enjoy the adventures of Navy SEALS or you are curious about BUD/S training. Chad Williams is quite the character, having turned from a wild teenager into a serious and driven Navy Seal.
While his career path surprised me at the end of the book, I can’t argue that he is undoubtedly doing great work for the Lord.
Thank you, Tyndale Blog Network for providing the Seal of God for me to read!
