Who Is God? A #Giveaway from @ApologiaWorld
I wanted to write, “Who is God ~ a giveaway!”
I can’t give God away though. I mean, I can. I can tell you about Jesus. But God cannot be captured and handed over to someone in a nice neat package.
But I can help you explain to your child who God is.
And I aim to. With the help of Apologia.
Like Grapevine, I have gotten to know the faces behind the company. These are real, sweet people. Actually the word that comes to mind: servants.
The women that serve behind Apologia serve with absolute joy. Meet Liz and Michelle.
They give freely of themselves.
Apologia is MORE than a curriculum company. (Remember my Apologia Live experience, which is now called Real Refreshment?) They care about the hearts and minds of the people NOT even using their textbooks.
The blessed winner of this $90 giveaway has the choice of winning the textbook, notebooking journal, CD, and coloring book of Who is God?
or
Folks, I’m jealous. Actually, we have almost everything that you would receive in the Who is God? bundle, minus the CD. But I have my eye on the Who Am I? bundle for the fall.
Yes. I. Do.
So, you want to win this. I’ll give you a head start.
You have to visit What We Believe.
What you believe . . . what your child believes about the world and how they fit into the grand scheme of things . . . is critical. Why? Well, isn’t that what you want to know . . . why you want this book? Heck, try and win this bundle for yourself, not just your children.
Then, I want you to click on that silver button on the What We Believe page and I want you to pick a blog to visit. Next, read their review and leave that writer a comment. Why? Because reviews are the HARDEST blog posts to write. They – take – a lot – of – time. Bless that woman for her hard work.
I know. I am making you work for this a little bit more than my normal giveaways. Here is why . . . Apologia is like a family. I value and appreciate their heart. We have been one of the MANY families they have blessed. I want to bless someone else in return. And receiving a comment on a review post is like a big fat tip in the tip jar – go tip some sweet blogger!
Finally, come back here to enter your information into Mr. Rafflecopter.

God will never contradict himself. Although I already knew this, it is a good reminder, especially in these ever changing times.
I visited http://notnewtoautism.blogspot.com/2012/02/apologia-who-am-i-tos-crew-review.html. I left a comment on her post and am just waiting for moderator approval. Her review spoke to me as a mom of 2 children with special needs
The first thing I learned from reading through the sample of “Who Is God” was that the word architect comes from the Greek word arkhitekton, which means “chief builder.” I, of course, learned some other interesting facts, too….
I have this on the top of my Bible/Worldview Curriculum choices for the upcoming homeschool year and would be TRULY blessed to win so our family can learn so much more about Who God Is and how we can truly know HIM! Thank you for this opportunity!!!

I like how the chapter gives you the overview initially, the points to ponder and the full-color illustrations.

I visited This Day Has Great Potential. What great ideas Lynn sparked for me, I am so excited.
Hi! I visited http://www.accidentallyhomeschooling.com/2012/02/apologia-who-am-i-and-what-am-i-doing.html. Thanks for the sample view of Who Is God. This is the curriculum I want to use with my kids. Great tie-ins and examples and beautifully written. The kids and I have studied Egypt but one thing I learned, and never read before, is that The Great Pyramid was built on bedrock! Great foundation tie-in. Thanks for sharing!
Amy
I loved the activity in lesson one about our eyes playing tricks on us. The use of the optical allusions helped me (a visual learner) to drive home the point of seeing the world differently.
I read the review at http://thewellsspring.blogspot.com/2012/02/apologias-who-am-i-tos-review.html and am following the suggestion to do the books in order. We are starting Who Is God? this fall and would love to win Who Am I? to do later 🙂
I left comment on blog, http://www.purposefulhomemaking.com/2012/02/who-am-i-and-what-am-i-doing-here.html
I really enjoyed the review by the Modest Mama at http://www.modest-mama.org/ – her family ages are similar to mine and she made some excellent points for these fantastic programs. You have the best giveaways – I also love getting a glimpse into your world!
You are so sweet. Thanks!
I saw this at my homeschool convention, but they sold out before I could purchase them. I am considering purchasing this for next year, but it would be even better to win!
Wow==I would love to win this–thanks for offering it.
love that is has so much Bible in it

Build your life on the solid rock of God’s truth!
I commented here http://harvestlanecottage.blogspot.com/2012/02/apologia-who-am-i-and-what-am-i-doing.html under my name 🙂
I learned that people view things differently, but through the course Who Is God, you’ll gain a clearer understanding of the truth.

The Great Pyramid was built
as a tomb for the Egyptian pharaoh Khufu
It would be such a huge blessing to win this!! I read the review at: http://livingsolagratia.blogspot.com/2012/02/tos-crew-who-am-i-by-apologia.html
I entered here…. https://jodimckenna.com/2012/05/who-is-god-a-giveaway-from-apologia.html
The Great Pyramid is not built on sand as it appears to have been.
A Traveling Tribe: http://ticknortribe.blogspot.com/2012/02/tos-review-aplogia-who-am-i-and-what-am.html
I learned some examples of how to demonstrate the concept of building our life on the rock.
I left a comment on someone’s blog http://familystyleschool.blogspot.com/2012/02/apologia-who-am-i.html. Then I came back to your web site. Is this how I enter the Apologia give away?
this is the blog I chose to check out:
http://sewanyhow.blogspot.com/2012/02/who-am-i.html
I love that each volume is meant to go together, but can stand alone.
Volume 1 focuses on the person and attributes of God, His provision, His design for
creation, the Fall, and His wondrous plan for our salvation. Volume 2 focuses on who
we are as people made in God’s image, what it means to be made in His image, and
how we can know and pursue His plan for our lives. Volume 3 will focus on how we
are meant to become more like Christ by serving others. Volume 4 will focus on how we
are to glorify God through the proper stewardship of the gifts He has given us,
including the earth, our time, our talents, and our possessions.
what a great overview
Yes! You did your homework!!!

I left a comment at http://bzoohomeschool.blogspot.com/2012/02/apologia-who-am-i-review.html
I learned that this series uses many different versions of the Bible for it’s scripture which means we would use our Bible with it to look up the verses.
It sounds like a great curriculum. I viisited http://homeschool-review.blogspot.com/2012/02/who-am-i-and-what-am-i-doing-here.html?showComment=1338950630383#c5859219620550367845
I learned that the Great Pyramid is built on bedrock. But I also learned what tone and type of language to use when teaching children.
I left a comment at http://mylifeonataffypull.blogspot.com/2012/02/who-am-i-apologia-review.html#comment-form and am waiting for approval. I also reviewed the lesson and liked how they use comparisons like the foundation/sand to our foundation in Christ as well as the blueprint/ plan in building to the plan and bluepring God has for our lives. Many great examples in order for children to understand. Thanks for putting this curriculum review out there!
I visited the Life with my giggly girls blogger: http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=7937235800872850976&postID=4113138912982381061&page=1&token=1339070791704

I would love, love, love to win this — we did the first one this year and I can’t wait to get the next one and continue the series!
I’m looking forward to the worldview segments that share worldviews of other chidlren raised in other places (in addition to the supporting teaching that backs up I am giving them, telling them to always look for God’s truth!)
I would love to use this to teach my youngest.
I visited Special Connection Homeschool and left a comment.
