Precious Moments Christmas Storybook: A Giveaway
I am slightly envious of Sweet Pea’s quiet time.
The location is quiet. Lovely. Remote. Quiet. Tranquil. Comfy. Cozy. Quiet.
(Did I already say that?)
Recently, thanks to Tommy Nelson Mommy, Sweet Pea has been flipping through the Precious Moments Christmas Storybook. The board book is perfect for her developing fingers. And when given time to read in her rocking chair, she learns about the real meaning of Christmas — Jesus.
But like many 2-year olds, Sweet Pea just likes to turn the pages.

Awww! My 19 month old girl isn’t old enough to tell me what Christmas is about, but my rowdy 2 year old boy said Christmas is about “Lightning McQueen and the Bible.” My older two roundly corrected him to tell him about Baby Jesus! LOL
You won girl! Let me know you received this email and send me your snail mail address!

The Star.
That’s what my little one said Christmas is about.
My 19 month old couldn’t tell me but my 5 year old boy gave a nice description about it being the birth of Jesus who came to the earth to die for our us.
Alright, this took some prodding. I first asked: What’s Christmas about? My 3yo answered “Rescue Squad Mater and Minion Doll” (which is what he and his brother have asked for for Christmas). I said is that what Christmas is about or what you’re getting. “Getting.” OK so what’s Christmas about? Who’s birthday is it? “cake.” um…ok but who’s birthday is on Christmas? “Umm…” Who is the baby in your nativity scene (Veggie Tales)? “Baby Shesus (Jesus).” We’re getting there. 🙂
Snowing and it is for toys (big grin) lol
she simply said “Jesus” 🙂
