Education Kindle Apps
Sometimes I multi-task. {grin}
Multi-tasking involves the Kindle when we are in the classroom. I am not ashamed to say that I stick my child in front of a screen.
Is that a stick-in-the-sand approach? No. But I have four children. I cook whole foods, complete with fermenting. My children don’t often sit in front of a real TV screen.
They play outside half of the day.
I have to give somewhere. I might lose my sanity otherwise.
To keep my classroom quiet, I reward work well done (meaning 100% effort put forth) with quality time spent with June . . . using educational Kindle apps.
How to Draw (free)
Sparky Shines His Light (free and created by Awana)
Alphabet Coloring ($0.99)
Preschool and Kindergarten Learning Games (free but I wish I had the paid version . . . $.99)
Letter Tracing ($0.99)
Connect the Dots ($0.99)
FYI: Sometimes I purchase an app . . . because it eliminates ads . . . and that can be a very good thing.
What activities do you do in your classroom to occupy children while you instruct their sibling?
