American Patriots: A Book Review
American Patriots by Rick Santorum, is a short book featuring the brave stories of the lesser known heroes that helped establish the country of the United States. These are the lives that are to be remembered and applauded. Read before bed, over lunch or after dinner they will provide encouragement and inspiration within ourselves and in the hearts of listening ears.
Often it seems like our culture lacks heroes. While culture may popularize comic book characters, actors, or sports figures, we can instead give our children the legacy of the REAL people found in Rick Santorum’s book, American Patriots.
I do think that there are present day heroes, but I will admit to enjoying a comfortable seat at home getting to know a brave individual while snuggling with my children or discussing a heroic deed found in this easy to read book, with the Engineer. Each story can be read independent of the others and the book is divided up into sections: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
You can find a copy of American Patriots on Amazon in Kindle, audio, or hardback.
