Vacation Reading: A Love Forbidden
I thought I had already written about A Love Forbidden by Kathleen Morgan.
Upon looking at my calendar, I discovered I had been remiss (sorry kind folks at Revell).
If you are on vacation right now, have no fear, you can download this pretty book on your Kindle or other reading device.
Situated in what I would call God’s Country (read Colorado), Shiloh Wainwright clearly demonstrates a missionary heart. She feels called to reach out to the Ute Indians and provide a quality education for them.
But times are not peaceful and there is a considerable amount of tension between the local Indians and the White River Indian Agency.
Like any Christian Historical Fiction, you know that a bit of romance trickles in. And this one won’t disappoint you. Shiloh discovers that her former best friend (Jesse Blackwater), has joined the Ute tribe.
And in order to protect her, he does something a bit untraditional.
To find out what Jesse did . . . read the book!
