What is 5 Minute Friday? Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking.
If you wiki “focus” anything but the presumed definition appears. It appears that Wikipedia has a hard time focusing.
There are lists of different web pages to further define focus.
Even the focus of an earthquake.
For 20 days I have been zeroed in on a goal. My sheer focus has amplified my willpower. And I keep to the task.
I can’t remember the last time I have done something this successful. Except have a baby.
It feels good. Worth the torture.
I have lost 14.8 pounds. And maybe that doesn’t sound like a lot. I have decreased 14 inches. Do you have any idea how long it has been since I have seen my feet? 9 years and 5 pregnancies later.
I can run up the stairs as if my arms had aided like helicopter blades.
All because I have been paying attention to details.
Mastering this thing of weight loss.
Focus. Follow the plan. Keeping my eyes on the prize.
Health. Freedom. A goodbye to self-loathing.
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2)
